Jasmine, Jr Artist
Jasmine is a textile artist turned tattooer. She completed her degree in Textile Design at Sheridan College and worked in the textile industry as a surface designer and product developer. In search of a more fulfilling way to share her art, she began her tattoo apprenticeship in February 2022. Creatively, her work is the most inspired by the folks, flora, and fauna of her Caribbean heritage, classic 90’s kid nostalgia, and local landscape. She looks forward to expanding her skillset into colour, neo-traditional tattoos, ornamental designs, and larger tattoo concepts.
Outside of tattooing, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her dog, staying in community and solidarity with marginalized folks, and from time to time, still crafting in textile.
